Christmas Morning

Layla Grace really enjoyed opening and playing with all her presents. Santa gave her an adorable Kitchen that she played with most of the day, and it seems to be a hit. She also got a really cool drawing/art station from The Crowley's that is perfect for her bc she spend hours coloring. Micah got plenty toys and clothes and has been scooting all over the living floor playing with.

When we arrived back to our house we let Layla Grace play in the snow for a bit. She was amazed at her footprints and the plants that were covered. She kept shaking the trees and saying, "WOW".

Our Snow day. It all began early in the am when I received a text message from Angel in Baton Rouge telling me it was snowing there. I turned on the news and asked her to send pics bc I couldn't believe it. Chris assured me it was safe to leave for work bc there was no way it was coming here. So as I neared my school, sure enough the sleet began to fall on the car and then SNOW. I was very afraid of being stuck on the West Bank and not being able to reach my own babies and so I quickly turned the car around and headed back to MiMi and PaPa's to pick them up. The whole way home Layla Grace was singing "Rain, rain, go away" that is until we let her go play in the snow then she understood the difference.
